Threads* sub_ʇxǝʇ Curatorial  Presents: Dry Spell

This month sub_ʇxǝʇ presents a journal entry entitled Dry Spell.

The broadcast unfolds over a long weekend by the Norfolk coast  with music from Willie One Time and members of the cast.

We’ve been thinking about the changing tide of the sea and the  threat of flooding. Recording the waves. We discovered that one  way in which the villagers used to ward off the threat of flooding  was using an enchanted or magical saxophone.

But in the saxophones absence we’ve been trying to recreate the  protective qualities of this mythical instrument by other means.

And though the tide is rising at the time of broadcast we hope that  in sharing our process with you the research will not have been in  vain.
